IRCC confirmed that these temporary pathways would stop accepting new applications on August 31, 2026. Applications received on or before that date continue to be processed.

The notice also refers to a separate open work permit public policy for applicants, remaining in place until May 2029. Check its conditions and your current status separately. The closure announcement does not decide an individual pending application.
