Immigration consultation fees: what to confirm before booking

Understand the difference between a consultation and further services, and ask clear questions about fees and scope.

Confirm the consultation itself

Noventra's published standard consultation fee is CAD $200 per session. Before booking, confirm the appointment, duration, communication format, scope and any applicable taxes. Tell us your goal and preferred language so that the arrangements can be discussed clearly.

Discuss further services separately

A consultation and an ongoing engagement are different arrangements. Ask which tasks would be included in further assistance, what information is needed from you and how fees would be confirmed. Read the published fee schedule, then confirm the scope for your own circumstances before deciding to proceed.

Keep different costs clear

Ask whether a quoted amount covers only professional services or includes any other costs. If your plan involves government charges, translations, testing or other providers, ask which amounts need separate confirmation. Do not assume that every cost is included in a headline price.

Prepare questions before you book

Write down your budget questions, key dates and the decisions you hope to make after the consultation. Use the free preparation checklist to organize your background. Request an appointment to confirm availability and arrangements; the initial inquiry itself does not establish a consultant-client relationship.
